Day 1 - And we assist the main contractor to help get this project ready for lining. Final shaping, quality of finish ready to receive our liner and...
... de-watering! Somebody had broken the mains water supply out of site on the main road - it was ending up here!
Day 2 - and we get the first liner in over the remaining water.
Liner two is in and the rain starts! Can't join liners in rain, so we switch to fitting the 165 lin m of termination bar to the toe of the wall that pins this lining system in place.
At the end of our first real day on site, we've got halfway with the lining.
Wednesday - Drier day today, but we're suffering the after effects of rain and leaking water. Not ideal conditions to work in and nothing like a training room, so ingenuity solves every situation - by building a temporary platform under the liner to weld on!
Textbook, dry weather seaming. Oh, and glasses back on!
Nearing 6pm and whilst we're lined, we don't quite finish the termination bar work due to exhaustion of the batteries, and operators!
Our last day - blue sky, sunshine! The attenuation pond is complete - just need to over-fleece it now for surcharging.
The liner is pinned to the concrete footings via termination bar, following the wall profile for neatness.
The over-fleece is installed and welded together into a single sheet. Job done.
